POSITION TITLE: Aesthetic Medical Liaison
The Aesthetic Medical Liaison (AML) will represent skinbetter science and its products providing scientific and clinically based product information to thought leaders and healthcare professionals. The AML will primarily be responsible for identifying and fostering interactions with thought leaders and healthcare professionals, identifying research interests and capabilities, and supporting the commercial organization and its customers in advancing scientific understanding of the Company’s products and data.
Thought Leader Engagement
Identify and cultivate relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionals in the professional skincare arena.
Provide scientific and clinically relevant information about our products.
Facilitate and technically support the presentation of scientific information and data for our products at key medical meetings through associated data publication and the dissemination of data in response to medical information requests.
Serve as the Company’s Professional Relations function, responsible not only for relationships with researchers and thought leaders, but also key customers and potential customers identified by commercial team as receptive to scientific/clinical interactions.
Identify research opportunities and knowledge gaps related to our products.
Identify and facilitate engagement with research-oriented thought leaders; collaborate with thought leaders in developing research study concepts.
Develop and deliver scientific and clinically focused education to sales team, supporting new hire training and education, and product launches.
Serve as a scientific and clinical resource to sales team by responding to questions from healthcare professionals seeking additional information about our products.
Deliver high quality scientific and clinical education of our products to customers and other healthcare professionals.
Attend medical meetings, collect and report on relevant competitor and market information; support personnel at medical meeting exhibits as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Clinical background in nursing, physician assistant or healthcare related life science (RN, NP, PA, etc.) degree required.
Minimum of 3 years in Medical Affairs, field-based education, medical or clinical liaison role, Dermatology preferred.
Strong content development skills.
Strong presentation and educational skills; ability to communicate clinical and technical information effectively based on audience needs.
Demonstrated commitment to integrating scientific, clinical and medical affairs activities into a commercially-meaningful strategy and framework.
Customer service oriented.
Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel up to 60-70%.
Demonstrate honesty and integrity while modeling behaviors that are consistent with skinbetter science policies, procedures and ethos.
