POSITION TITLE: Aesthetic Medical Liaison

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Medical, Clinical & Scientific Affairs



The Aesthetic Medical Liaison (AML) will report to the Vice President of Medical, Clinical and Scientific Affairs and represent skinbetter science and its products providing scientific and clinically-based product information to thought leaders and healthcare professionals. The AML will be responsible for identifying, fostering, and maintaining interactions with thought leaders. The AML will also serve as an internal scientific and clinical expert for the Company developing educational content and materials and supporting the commercial organization in advancing the scientific understanding of the Company’s products and data.



  • External – Thought Leader and Customer Engagement:

    • Serve as an external scientific and clinical expert for the Company.
    • Develop and implement a thought leader engagement plan. Identify and cultivate relationships with thought leaders in the professional skincare arena.
    • Develop and deliver scientific, clinical and technically relevant information about Company products, tailoring presentations to meet specific audience needs.
    • Increase the Company’s visibility, facilitating and technically supporting presentation of scientific information and data of Company products at key medical meetings through associated publication and the dissemination of data.
    • Identify potential educational partnership opportunities and collaborations.
    • Identify and assess feasibility for post-market studies from inception to publication.
    • Serve as a scientific and clinical resource responding to questions from healthcare professionals and customers seeking additional information about Company products.
  • Internal – Medical Affairs and Commercial Support:

    • Serve as an internal scientific and clinical expert for the Company.
    • Develop and deliver scientific, clinical, and technical education to commercial team, supporting new hire sales education and product launches.
    • Represent Company at medical conferences and to professional societies, collect and report on relevant market information; support personnel at medical meeting exhibits as needed.
    • Identify and communicate medical/scientific insights and trends that are relevant to the Company and its stakeholders (e.g., competitive landscape, unmet needs, researchers, physicians).
    • Collaborate and work cross-functionally across the organization.
    • Lead/contribute to special projects and other activities as deemed necessary by Medical Affairs leadership.


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years in Medical Affairs, field-based education, medical or clinical liaison role. Industry experience required. Dermatology or medical aesthetics preferred.

  • Nursing or healthcare related life science degree required. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 50-60%.

  • Strong content development and presentation skills. Ability to communicate scientific, clinical and technical information effectively based on audience needs.

  • Demonstrated commitment to integrating scientific, clinical and Medical Affairs activities into a commercially-meaningful strategy and framework.

  • Self-motivated, action-oriented individual with strong business acumen and organizational skills.

  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.

  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity while modeling behaviors that are consistent with skinbetter science policies, procedures and ethos.
