POSITION TITLE: Sr. Manager, Sales Operations and Analytics

The company is looking for a driven, hands-on, business-minded individual with a strong grounding in analytics, sales process, and software. The Sr. Manager, Sales Operations and Analytics must work to improve the business in all possible ways, using a mix of analytical and design capabilities to provide insights that drive change and improvement. He or she will be able to transfer input from across the functions into usable data and business requirements. The Senior Manager will provide business insights, daily reporting, and analytics in support of the sales teams. The position will extend outside of data and will also work on incentive compensation plans for the sales team, samples management, and business process. The Sr. Manager, Sales Operations and Analytics must be able to thrive in a high growth environment and be comfortable working with changing priorities and other job duties as needed.
FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Partner with sales team to develop and deliver reports and dashboards.
Identify and monitor key sales and operating metrics, business risks, and opportunities.
Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to sales operations and other groups.
Translate data into meaningful insights, to drive decision making, automation and process improvement, and uncover performance opportunities.
Prepare regular & ad hoc reports and presentations; respond to information requests.
Support and maintain incentive compensation (IC) plans for the company’s sales team.
Responsible for delivering accurate and timely IC reporting, and functions as an internal technical consultant to HR, sales management, and employees to identify and resolve various compensation-related issues/questions.
Support other business groups with reporting and analytics as needed.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Science, Business, Finance, Statistics, or related field
8+ years of relevant work experience as a business analyst
Advanced expertise in Excel and MS Access required
Experience using MS SQL to discover, aggregate and extract data highly preferred
Experience in CRM such as Salesforce or NetSuite preferred
Experience in Looker, Tableau, or other data visualization environments preferred
Programming knowledge preferred
Applied knowledge of financial and business metrics
Ability to think strategically about uses of data
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
Strong relationship management skills
Experience presenting and reporting analyses to appropriate stakeholders
Independently manage day-to-day activities
